How to set up your
Eye of the Tiger

Everything you need to go from unboxing to fully connected. Follow each step and you'll be up and running in minutes.

Order an Eye of the Tiger

Head to our Shop and choose the right unit for you. We ship directly — orders placed before 2pm are dispatched the same day.

  • Visit the Shop section on the homepage
  • Select your preferred product tier
  • Complete checkout — secure payment, no account required
  • Watch for your dispatch confirmation email
💡 All orders include a Quick Start card in the box. Keep it handy — it has your device serial number on the back.

Plug In

Remove your Eye of the Tiger from the packaging and plug it in using the included USB-C cable. The device powers on automatically — no button needed.

A solid amber light means it's booting. A steady white light means it's ready.

  • Connect the USB-C cable to the device and a power source (5V/2A minimum)
  • Wait for the white LED — takes around 20 seconds on first boot
  • Ensure the device is within Wi-Fi range
💡 If the light flashes red, unplug and replug. A red flash usually means the power source is underpowered.

Connect Your AI Model in Seconds

Open the EyeOfTheTiger.AI app (available on iOS, Android, and desktop) or navigate to the device's local web interface from any browser on the same network.

From there, choose your AI model — we support all major providers out of the box.

  • Open a browser and go to the local interface:
http://tiger.local
  • Select your AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or custom)
  • Paste your API key into the secure field — it's stored on-device only
  • Choose your default model and hit Save
💡 Don't have an API key yet? Each supported provider has a link to their key generation page directly inside the interface.

Go

That's it. Your Eye of the Tiger is live. The LED pulses orange when the AI is active and returns to white when idle.

Use the app or the local interface to interact, configure automations, or explore advanced settings whenever you're ready.

  • Send your first message from the interface
  • Try a voice command if your unit has the mic module
  • Explore Settings to customise wake words, response style, and integrations
